Ready for Takeoff: Preparing Your Startup for Funding

This is an exciting time for entrepreneurs around the world, because business startups are in the spotlight and there are numerous funding models and sources available to get a business off the ground. Prospective founders need to prepare effectively to compete for these investment dollars and that is what this session aims to cover.
The evening's events will focus on aspects of preparation for funding, beginning with a short talk about the Startup Leadership Program's 2013-2014 classes and followed by a panel discussion about the importance of preparation. The panel will include perspectives of venture capital, crowd funding, and business founders.
