Two key topics for this presentation include:
1) Roadmap to 74-343 Certification. Review of the certification objectives, study materials, best ways to learn all the objectives, roadmap that the chapter is providing and requirements to be part of the study group.
2) Tips and Tricks on using Microsoft Project 2013. Bring your laptop and follow along during the demo. The demo will be using Project 2013, however you should be able to follow if using previous versions.
During this event, students will learn tips and tricks on using Microsoft Project 2013 and learn the objectives to passing the 74-343 exam.
About the Presenter:
Michael Wharton is a Project/SharePoint Consultant and Trainer. Michael’s career started as a software developer before moving into project management. His passion to improve project management processes begin in 2003 using tools like project professional and project server. Since then he has trained hundreds of project managers and implemented project server in over twenty-five PMOs. He has passed over forty Microsoft certification exams giving him a solid technical background with Project and SharePoint Server.
Michael is active in the MPUG community and providing leadership with the Raleigh Durham chapter. He is the past President-Elect and past Director of Programs for the NC Piedmont PMI, board member of the Triad SQL Server User Group, Triad Developers Guild and Enterprise Architect Roundtable. He is currently writing a book about “Monitoring the PMO using Project Server 2013”.
