Raising Achievement Through Innovation: Charles O. Dewey MS 136
Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM (EDT)
Join us as we explore four NYC public schools that are heightening student success through alternative methodologies, from community partnerships to arts programming to extracurricular programs.
At Charles O. Dewey MS 136, students have their normal Common Core curriculum infused with technology, career readiness and the 7 Habits from the "Leader in Me" program. Opportunities for creativity are limitless through a wide range of extracurricular activities and project-based learning using STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and mathematics), providing students with a foundation to become strong leaders.
