Day at the Capitol a full-day educational program that focuses on civic engagement. Group activities will take place at the Capitol Plaza Hotel & the Statehouse in Montpelier. 4-H club members and other Vermont youth are invited to attend; participants must be in the 7th grade or higher. Parents and club leaders are also welcome. Space will be limited to 25 total participants. Cost is $15 pp; the fee includes lunch and an afternoon snack. Please register by April 1st.
Please Note: Day at the Capitol participation is strongly recommended for any 4-H member planning to attend Citizenship Washington Focus. This program will be offered one time per year, alternating vacation weeks, so that all 4-H members will have an opportunity to participate at some point during their time in 4-H.
