Only Jesus—His person, His presence, and His power—can satisfy the longings of a generation for love, pleasure, and impact.
RAIN is a conference for people who desire to live radical lives of devotion to Jesus and to bring His love and power to a broken world so that our homes, communities, and cities might be transformed. The conference will focus on themes that will help saints of all ages grow in intimacy with God, and live in wholehearted abandonment to Jesus, as they win the lost, heal the sick, and do works of justice.
Friday night, August 1st, will be a time of unified, corporate worship and prayer, as the church of Traverse City comes together as one voice. (7:00p-10:00p)
Saturday will be a conference for the local region and state, as we grow in the knowledge of Jesus through worship, impartation and prayer. (10am - 10pm with lunch& dinner breaks between sessions)
Corey Russell, leadership from IHOP-KC and Cory Asbury, worship leader from New Life Church in Colorado Springs, will again be among the speakers and worship leaders at this year's conference.
Healing Rooms, Children's Equipping and Breakout Sessions will once again be available. Please check back later at www.gthop.com/about/rain as more details become available.

- Morgan Mitchell‘s life looks much like that of the prodigal son. After spending years struggling with drugs, alcohol and the ways of the world, he entered his new life in Christ through baptism in 2003. He has since served the Lord and continues to make Him his life passion. At the age of 10, Alex gave her life to the Lord and received two life visions: missions and intercession. Over the next 10 years of her life she got involved in as many missions opportunities as possible, serving with YWAM and also local churches. 2004 began the next 10 year season of learning the art of intercession and applying it in every situation. Morgan & Alex have a passion to run after Jesus with their life, to get to know Him, to hear His voice, and to serve Him. They have three beautiful children, Miah, Joseph and Tessa.
- Nigel Lidiard began leading worship for Wellington Christian Fellowship (England) in 1983 and was the worship leader and part of the leadership team there until 1988. During this time he also helped to start and led a church youth group. Nigel also served as a prayer counselor within the church and also for conferences. Starting in 1986, Nigel occasionally traveled into Europe (Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and Switzerland) and also India to lead worship and teach worship seminars. Nigel married Sandy in 1987 and the two moved to Brussels, Belgium in 1989 to further their ministry into Europe. Nigel and Sandy worked in Brussels with a bi-lingual French/Flemish church and led worship primarily in French. During their time in Belgium they traveled to churches in several of the surrounding countries and taught on worship and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Toward the end of 1990, Nigel and Sandy moved to Michigan to start a family. Nigel occasionally led worship and taught for different churches in Michigan. From 1995 to 1998 Nigel sat on the board of trustees of Oakbrook Christian Church (Royal Oak, MI) and also served as their Church Treasurer. In May 1999 Nigel became the worship leader for Lighthouse Christian Fellowship (Birmingham, MI) and continued there until February of 2000 at which time Nigel and Sandy answered the Lord’s call and moved with their daughters to Jerusalem, Israel.
