RADIO SOLEIL is the twenty-four hour Haitian Subcarrier (SCA) radio operating for the last twenty years from its studios in Brooklyn. Its signal is transmitted to special receivers in the tri-state area of New-York, New-Jersey and Connecticut, home to  500,000 Haitians. It is estimated that Seven out of Ten Haitians in that area own a special receiver.
