*STAG DINING GROUP will serve a multi-course dinner with wine pairings
*TOBIAS WOLFF will present a reading of unpublished fiction
*THE SAN FRANCISCO REPERTORY JAZZ QUARTET will play a live set
For our final event of the season, Radio Silence is teaming up with the acclaimed Stag Dining Group to present an intimate evening with author Tobias Wolff and The San Francisco Repertory Jazz Quartet, which features Patrick Wolff, the author's son, on saxophone. This event will serve as a fundraiser for Radio Silence, as we prepare to publish issue 03. A portion of proceeds will benefit local arts education. The event capacity will be very limited.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and appetizers, followed by a multi-course dinner by Stag Dining Group, complete with complimentary wine pairings by Sutton Cellars and other vineyards. Dinner, wine, and entertainment are included with your ticket.
The entertainment for the evening will be truly special. Tobias Wolff will read the world premiere of a yet-to-be-published short story. And his son Patrick Wolff, an acclaimed jazz saxophonist [who performed for President Obama last month], will accompany Tobias with an original composition, then Patrick's band, The San Francisco Repertory Jazz Quartet, will play a full set.
It'll be a rare evening. We would love to spend it with you. Reserve your seats now, and help support Radio Silence.

The San Francisco Repertory Jazz Quartet is the real thing -- a classic jazz group steeped in the language of bebop and post bop, with an approach that is both loose and driving, and the kind of cohesive group sound that can only be found through constant live performance. Founded by saxophonist Patrick Wolff, the band equally features pianist Adam Shulman, bassist Eric Markowitz, and drummer Smith Dobson V. The mission of the group is to uncover and explore great compositions of the '50s and '60s that have been under-appreciated for one reason or another, and to present this music in a creative and exciting way to new audiences.
