The Radical Compassion Symposium begins Thursday, October 16, 2014 with an evening keynote at 7 p.m. A variety of keynotes, dialogues, workshops, contemplative practice and community sessions are offered over the course of the weekend. The Symposium will conclude at 1pm on Sunday. The Symposium will be held at Naropa University's Nalanda Campus, 6287 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder, CO. See the full schedule.
This gathering of international spiritual leaders, scientists and activists focuses on one of the most dynamic and important topics of our time: compassion. Living with an open heart, meeting the world as it is, and cultivating compassion in action - these are some of the themes of this weekend for practitioners, academics, helping professionals, non-profit, business and emerging leaders, and anyone interested in contributing to a kinder world.
You have a choice of workshops on Friday and Saturday. Please read through the schedule and select your workshops during the registration process.
Pre-Conference Intensives will be offered Thursday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boulder Shambhala Center, 1345 Spruce St., Boulder, CO. The day-long intensives give you a chance to spend extended time with a teacher exploring a particular topic in depth. These programs will combine teachings, experiential work, and group discussion.
Pre-Conference Intensives are not included in the Symposium registration fee, please register for a "combo admission" or the "intensive only" if you would like to participate in a session on Thursday. You have three options for intensives offered Thursday, October 16. Please read the descriptions and select one intensive during the registration process.
