About Our Speaker
Ken Tucker joined TAG Consulting as a Senior Partner in 2010. As thought leader, Ken brings the many years of being a Principal Consultant and highly sought after speaker with The Gallup Organization and his experience as Strategic Consultant and CEO of Ken Tucker and Associates, LLC. He has traveled the world and subsequently TAG’s partnerships span the globe.
Ken’s book, The Leadership Triangle co-authored with Kevin Ford was released in January 2012. Stephen Covey says “This terrific book offers clear and precise “options” that a leader can choose in order to successfully transform their organization to meet the challenges of these uncertain times. It also provides many insightful examples from key leaders who model these concepts themselves. The result is a powerful read.” Ken Blanchard adds “I love this book! He is also co-author of, Animals, Inc: a Business Parable for the 21st Century (Warner Books, February 2004) and author of Are You Fascinated? The Four People You Need to Succeed (Dailey Swann Publishing, March 2009) and is a regular contributor to management columns.
Ken serves clients in many industries including: financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, manufacturing industries, defense contractors, as well as academic institutions.
His expertise is in helping clients transform disjointed organizations and workgroups into high performing teams. He uses the organization’s metrics and initiatives as a basis for increasing per employee productivity. For the executive team, Tucker uses customized tools and strategies that increase execution and productivity. Additionally, he advises leaders and instructs managers on how to unleash employee discretionary effort to drive long-term business outcomes.
Ken has been interviewed by Sam Donaldson, ABC News, appeared on Bloomberg Television, and Fox News. He has been a key-note speaker sharing the platform at times with General Colin Powell, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Jim Collins and Marcus Buckingham. His clients have included organizations such as Yahoo!, Microsoft Corporation, Walgreens, British Telephone and The Ritz Carlton Hotels. Ken uses humor, real life and business examples, and anecdotes to effectively reach his audiences. Tucker received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The University of Nebraska at Kearney. He was selected as a Kellogg Fellow in 1998. Ken Tucker is a native of the Bahamas. Ken and his wife Judy live in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area and are fortunate to have their three children Kendra, Kristen and Kenny living nearby.
