Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana will hold the first Quality Blue Primary Care (QBPC) Statewide Collaborative in Baton Rouge on Thursday, Nov. 6. This will be the first such collaborative, and will give enrolled and interested providers an opportunity to come together, hear medical experts talk about best practices for population health management and share lessons learned from their participation in this new program.
The Collaborative agenda includes a keynote session "Cholesterol Managment" with Dr. Peter Toth, Director of Preventative Cardiology at CGH Medical Center in Sterling Illinois, and presentations from Blue Cross staff on the QBPC program, population health initiatives and examples of interventions that have helped primary care practices successfully improve patients' health outcomes.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the Collaborative. There is no cost to attend, and eligible participants can earn CME or CEU credits.
Please R.S.V.P. to Blue Cross by Monday, Oct. 6, to confirm your attendance. If you have questions about the Collaborative, please contact us at 225-298-7959 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
