Substance Abuse Training Session (April 6, Columbia, Suicide Prevention)

This session will provide participants with the skills needed to present the “Question, Persuade, and Refer” (QPR) suicide prevention program to the general public. (More information about the QPR program is available on the TSPN website.) Upon completion of the training, participants will be certified as QPR Gatekeeper Instructors for 3 years.
The cost of registration covers the cost of training materials and a boxed lunch to be served during the session. The cost will drop to $425 if we can get more than 10 people to register. No discounts or scholarships are available to cover the registration fee.
It should be noted that participants must attend the full session in order to receive accreditation as QPR trainers.

The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN) is the statewide public-private organization responsible for implementing the Tennessee Strategy for Suicide Prevention as defined by the 2001 National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.
Our grass-roots association which works across the state to eliminate the stigma of suicide and educate communities about the warning signs of suicide, with the ultimate intention of reducing suicide rates in the state of Tennessee.
