A limited number of tickets are now available for the for the sixth annual Queensland Malt Whisky Society Whisky Expo. We welcome you to experience a unique tasting event held upstairs at the Transcontinental Hotel.

Early Bird tickets are now SOLD OUT.

We'll have over 100 whiskies on tasting - this will be an opportunity to try some old and new favourites

As suppliers confirm attendance, we will update this page and facebook.

Please note: There will be some masterclasses available to attend through the evening, this will be advised on the facebook page, via email for those that have purchased tickets, and on this page once they become available.

Admission price includes bottled water, a QMWS Glencairn glass and a great night spend with fellow whisky friends, fans and brand ambassadors.

Whiskies will be available for purchase directly from the Spiros Bottle Shops and available for collection from their Roma street or Paddington store.

The restaurant at the transcontinental is open from 5pm to 9pm, if you were looking to purchase a meal on the night.

The fine print

We support the responsible service of alcohol and this policy will be in place at all times. We encourage regular water consumption and bottled water will be provided on the night. Spittoons will be provided at each table - we encourage the use of these to maximise your tasting experience on the night. Abusive language or disruptive behaviour towards the Transcontinental Hotel employees, QMWS members and/or brand ambassadors will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave should this occur.

* $20 off the first whisky applies to one bottle per attendee only. Multiple $20 discounts cannot be applied to the same bottle.
