Python for Data Science

Python is a versatile and widely-used programming language with many applications. This class explores Python's place in the scientific ecosystem, and how it can be used as a tool for data analysis. This class is a recommended refresher before General Assembly's upcoming Data Science course.
- Learn how Python is used in the scientific community
- Gain familiarity with data-centric libraries such as NumPy and Pandas
- Knowledge of some programming language (does not have to be Python)
- Familiarity with linear algebra (optional but preferred)
Required class materials:
Please bring a laptop (does not matter which OS). Have Anaconda installed before class.
