Tom Higley, a Denver-based entrepreneur, has founded six tech startups, including Service Metrics (acquired by Exodus Communications for $280 million) and StillSecure (aka Latis Networks). He has been a waiter, a janitor, a carpenter, a painter, a GM auto worker, a music store manager, a teacher, a guitar player, a lawyer, a CEO, a mentor and a board member. Higley is the CEO of Vokl, a company focused on turning the smartphone into a more effective way of connecting consumers with local businesses. He is a mentor in the TechStars program. He also provides office hours to entrepreneurs and startups at Galvanize in Denver.
