Pulling Together at Walker Ranch
Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (MDT)
Would you like to help stop the spread of invasive weeds? “Pulling For Colorado” is a statewide effort to educate residents about the impacts noxious weeds have on our natural, agricultural and recreational lands. Volunteers will learn about diffuse knapweed, the problems it causes, and then work together with a weeds specialist to pull it up. Pulling invasive weeds by hand is one important component of Boulder County’s integrated weed management. This project runs from 8:00am-1:00pm, and breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. Minimum age is 12 with adult supervision.
Please note that every volunteer under the age of 18 needs a waiver signed by a parent or guardian, and needs to be accompanied to the volunteer event by an adult.
