PSLA's 3rd Annual Back2School Giveaway - Day of Event Volunteer Registration

On August 2nd, Philanthropic Society Los Angeles (PSLA) will host the 3rd Annual Back to School Giveaway benefitting Children's Institute, Inc. (CII). PSLA will provide 6,000 Head Start through 12th grade students with backpacks, school supplies, healthy snacks, shoes, and much, much more to help them prepare for the school year ahead.
Please join us on Saturday, August 2nd at Ted Watkins Park to be a part of the giveaway. Volunteer responsibilities range from helping children select backpacks and shoes or handing out snacks and water, to working with the Watts Farmer's Market to demonstrate healthy cooking techniques. Volunteer t-shirt, food, drinks, and parking provided.
- Day-of logistics will be emailed to you once your registration is complete - close to the event date.
- Volunteer registration ends at 12:00pm on Friday, August 1st.

We also invite you to join us at CII's Otis Booth Campus prior to the event to get in the back to school spirit and stuff backpacks with pens, pencils, crayons, binders and more.
