As the need for innovative faith-based outreach programs arise in the community, writers and artists are stepping up their search for performance opportunities and venues to reach the unreachable. Drama, story and poetry have been used throughout the years for praise and encouragement and to illustrate the Good News of the Word. No longer confined to the four walls of the church, gifted and anointed artists of all ages, ethnicities, cultures and religious backgrounds are communicating to the spiritual needs of the world and are giving voice to the voiceless through spoken word, music, poetry, drama and stand-up comedy. The Psalmist Café – An evening of Music, Muse and Prose is hosted by the Grace Writers Project in conjunction with Center of Grace Ministries who has generously opened its doors to the neighborhood and surrounding church community for a unique evening of fun and fellowship.
