'Psalm 46' Retreat: Be still & know that I am God! led by Fr. Patrick O’Neil, OP

Often called a private silent retreat, this is a time to withdraw from your usual demands and schedule. Let Vallombrosa be for you a “Clearing in the Thicket,” where you can enter into a calm atmosphere and spend time with your God. Even in this short period of time, attendees say they are able to relax, refresh, rejuvenate, discern, or simply pray and grow closer to God. The weekend consists of short conferences and ample opportunities to meet with the Director (always optional) and plenty of time to “Be Still” or simply to “Be!”.

These wonderful weekend retreats begin with check-in on Friday after 4:00 pm and end after lunch on Sunday.

Fr. Patrick O’Neil, OP, Director of Vallombrosa Center, is a Catholic priest of the Western Dominican Province. Prior to being ordained in 1995, he worked for nine years as a criminal defense attorney & then for four years as a Superior Court judge. Trained in medical ethics, spiritual direction, and giving retreats, Fr. Patrick has worked closely with those who are dealing with life-threatening illness. He has served as Coordinator of Spiritual Care for Nathan Adelson Hospice and has been affiliated with the Center for Compassionate Care, both in Las Vegas. In 2003 he founded Face to Face, offering support for critically-ill patients & their caregivers and also providing educational programs for physicians, nurses & other medical professionals who work day-in & day-out in the field of healthcare. In addition to serving as Vicar Provincial for the Western Dominicans, his assignments have included ministry in parishes & Newman Centers.

The cost for the weekend is $290.00 for a private room and $250.00 per person for a shared room, with all meals included.
