A crisis for an organization or client can come in many forms. While most organizations have a crisis communications plan prepared, how ready will you be when it’s your crisis that results in BREAKING NEWS? Who will speak on behalf of the organization? What will that spokesperson tell the reporters? How will the organization respond to the barrage of requests via social media seeking updated information? Is your crisis communications plan really ready for a crisis?
Join PRSA Orlando as we present a multi-speaker session on crisis communications. UCF’s Grant Heston and Duke Energy’s Ann Marie Varga will share their experiences communicating during a crisis and illustrate why your organization’s crisis communication plan is so important.
