Visit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and take a behind-the-scenes look at our community’s largest food collection and distribution operation. Hear Greg Higgerson, VP of development for Second Harvest, discuss how the organization has used a storytelling strategy across its communication channels to build awareness of the new state-of-the-art headquarters in west Orlando, as well as increase food distribution by 40 percent to more than 500 community agencies. A hearty breakfast will be served by the Second Harvest “Community Kitchen” which uses catering proceeds to provide culinary training and job placement for those in need. Enter a drawing for a free PRSA Orlando breakfast program registration by bringing in a donation of dry or canned food.
