Proud to Run 5K/10K

Proud To Run is a 10K run, 5K run or walk that celebrates lesbian and gay pride. We welcome everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, who wishes to join us in the celebration and show their support. Proud To Run also raises funds to help health and service organizations. Proud To Run is presented in association with Frontrunners/Frontwalkers Chicago, Chicago's LGBT running and walking club. This will be the 33rd annual event.
Parking at Montrose Harbor is tight. If you plan to park at the race site, please arrive at least one hour in advance. The ONLY legal parking at the race site is in a parking lot behind the registration tent. Cars parked anywhere else (regardless of what the signs say) will be towed by the Chicago Park District.
Walking, bicycling, or taking public transportation is strongly encouraged. Bike racks are available at the race site.
8:05 a.m. 5K run/10K run start
Each 5K and 10K finisher results including finish time, place in age group, and overall place will be posted to the Proud to Run web site as soon as they are final.
Register. There is no additional team fee. Team categories include all-male, all-female, and coed. Teams may have an unlimited number of members, but the top four finishing times are used to tabulate the team score. To participate as a team, choose a team captain to complete a team card at the race-day registration tent before the start of the event.

Except for official CARA Family or Pet Registered Races, for safety reasons, baby joggers, strollers, bikes, skates, or pets are not allowed in the race(s).
