This year, Project YES (Youth Envisioning Social change) will host their 9th annual “SeLebration 2011: A Day To SeLebrate Service Learning in Your Community,” on Saturday, April 16. SeLebration is an opportunity for community members to better understand social issues in our area and to support local organizations through different service projects. Participants will volunteer at Growing Gardens, transplanting seedlings, prepping flower beds, potting and seeding, composting, and putting up the peace garden tents.
