You are in cordially invited to Project BCI, a fundraising event for the Bohol Circle Incorporated.
Project BCI is a fundraising event to help restore Bohol Circle Inc. (BCI), one of the pioneering Filipino-American organizations to establish itself in the United States. For over 75 years, BCI has provided its members with financial support in times of need, a sense of community, and has been a hub for preserving Filipino culture and customs here in the Bay Area.
The BCI club house located in Alameda, California has served its members for nearly 45 years. To preserve its legacy for future generations, the building needs to be restored and equipped for 21st century service, entertainment, and community service.
On August 26th, 2011, BCI will be hosting a benefit party at 111 Minna Art Gallery in San Francisco to raise funds for this restoration project and will be open to persons above the age of 21. This event will feature fully stocked bars, great music, dancing and live performances by Hopie, 4 Play, XL, The Tenderonies and DL da Arsun.
A minimum donation of $20 will include a ticket to the event and you will be automatically added to the guest list. However, any amount would help make this project a success! If you decide to pay at the door, ticket sales will be $25.
With supporters such as yourself, we can become partners in restoring this icon in Filipino American history.
