African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Pennsylvania Presents a Forum for the Mayoral and Judicial candidates of the City of Harrisburg, to be held on Thursday, April 18th at the Manna House, located at 2020 State Street in Harrisburg.
Topics for Mayoral candidates to include: small business creation and planning for long term economic growth. Judicial topics to include: sentencing guidelines, jail diversionary programs and specialty courts.
Harrisburg, Thursday, April 18, 2013: The AACCCP plans to host a candidate’s forum to include both Mayoral and Judicial candidates.
Each candidate will be asked a series of questions related to their personal stand on the community revitalization projects, how small business will benefit and strive in the years to come and for Judicial candidates their position on recidivism, sentencing guidelines, specialty courts, re-entry programs, and the identification of services and job training needed, to transform idol time into education and reduced crime rates.
The time has come for small business owners in the capitol to address leaders one-on-one and gain clear understanding of the platforms and planned practices that will move this city forward, based on the direct needs of its residents. Members, Organizations, residents, business owners, and interested parties are encouraged to send questions via email to Chair@ chamberforus.org, no later than Friday, April 12, 2013 by 5:00 pm. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for mixing, light refreshments (adult beverages will be available). The program will begin promptly at 6:15 pm.
