Producing – Skill Building for Success
Wednesday, October 9 | 6:30-8:30 pm
Being a successful producer requires a wide array of talents, skills and knowledge. From raising money, to negotiating contracts with broadcasters and funders, to pitching your project, being a good producer is essential if you want to get your film made. Yet gaining the skills and learning the business aspects of film production can be challenging. This workshop will provide a rare opportunity to fine-tune your producing chops and offer you a place to ask your questions. Join critically acclaimed filmmakers of GIRLS LIKE US, Tina DiFeliciantonio (WMM Board Member) and Jane C. Wagner, whose current project was one of eight nationally to receive funding from the prestigious MacArthur Foundation and whose work has been screened and broadcast in countries throughout the world, and entertainment attorney Nicole Page, Partner, Reavis Parent Lehrer LLP and Head of Business Affairs, Engel Entertainment, Inc. (and WMM Board Member) to learn what you need to know to move your project forward.
Please note: If you do not wish to use Google checkout, contact us to register by phone at 212-925-0606 ext 310 or 302.
