Whether you are new to Canon or a longtime user, Michael will help you learn the new Canon system. This course covers the following cameras ONLY: 1DX, 7D, 6D, 5D II or III. EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Beginner: No experience necessary WHAT TO BRING: Please bring your 1DX, 7D, 6D, or 5D II or III, and something with which to take notes. Be sure that your camera battery is charged and that you have a memory card with room on it for photos.

After several years of photojournalism, Michael entered the more lucrative area of Photographic Retail Management. After 15 year as everything from Sales to Buyer, Advertising Exec, to Digital Specialty innovator, he was asked by Canon to take up the new challenge of digital imaging. Embracing the challenge, he put forth his full efforts. Beginning with the Canon DCS-1, Michael has since become an advisor to companies such as Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, Getty, Corbus, Warner Bros., ABC/Disney, Paramount, CBS, NBC, NANPA, PPA, PPC, WPPI, Upperdeck, AAED, ADA, CDA, News Services, and many, many others bringing them into the Digital Age. His knowledge of digital imaging and processes as well of his mastery of Canon has set him apart in the photographic community. Unless otherwise noted, all classes require advance registration due to limited seating and/or availability. Samy's EDU makes the decision to run a class based on the attendance level 48 hours prior to the class. Because of this, we can only offer a refund if you notify us by sending an email to EDU@Samys.com 48 hours before your class. If you fail to provide email notification or if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the class all monies will be forfeit and you will not receive a refund. On occasion we may cancel a class because of low enrollment and/or unforeseen professional conflict on the part of the instructor. Should this be the case, all monies will be refunded in full. We do not take responsibility for non-refundable airline tickets, so please buy a refundable ticket if you are coming from outside of Los Angeles.
