Title: Photogravure

Date & Time: November 7 from 6-9pm, November 8 from 2-5 pm, and November 9 from 2pm-6pm (three session workshop)

Photogravures can produce the fine detail and continuous tones of photographs, and it also yields an etched plate that can be retouched and re-worked with any of the traditional etching processes. In this workshop, you will learn how to: create a digital file and print it on to a transparent film, adhere a rosin grain to copper, adhere the sensitized gelatin to the copper plate, etch the copper plate and print.

Tuition: $260

Materials fee: $75 materials fee, payable to instructor
