Political journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin join the Tribune’s editorial page editor Bruce Dold for a discussion about the 2012 presidential election and their new book, “Double Down: Game Change 2012,” the sequel to their 2008 bestseller, “Game Change.” Heilemann and Halperin will discuss how their unique access to the behind-the-scenes stories and information coupled with hundreds of interviews with people involved in the campaign produced an account that covers the Republican Party nomination process, Mitt Romney’s trajectory and the eventual victory of Barack Obama. John Heilemann is the national affairs editor for New York magazine and a political analyst for MSNBC. Mark Halperin is editor-at-large and senior political analyst for Time magazine and also a political analyst for MSNBC. Join Printers Row for a fascinating night of political discourse and discussion.
