Bill Sweeney

Bill Sweeney is President and Founder of Eiger Leadership. With an extensive history in leading and sustaining high-performance teams, he is passionate about the critical role of leadership in creating engaged and committed employees, satisfied customers and superior business results.

Bill has held a number of senior leadership positions during a highly successful corporate career, including Corporate Officer / Vice President of the US Division of a multi-national pharmaceutical company. Reflective of his ability to manage change, he was selected to serve as Vice President, Sales for the largest division of Genentech during the relocation of corporate headquarters. His leadership resulted in significant market share improvement with renewed employee commitment against the backdrop of a rapidly changing market and corporate culture.

An inspirational and ethical leader, Bill has been recognized on numerous occasions, including the Prestigious Roche Presidents Club Award and the Marion Merrell Dow Excellence in Leadership Award. A life-long learner, he is a graduate of the University of Toledo and has attended Executive courses at prestigious institutions such as The University of Michigan Ross School of Business as well as The UCLA Anderson School of Management. Bill believes in giving back to the community as reflected in his ongoing financial support of organizations such as CASA, The St Petersburg Free Clinic, and the Boley Center. He also is a Member of the University of Toledo Presidents Club, the USFSP Deans Advisory Board, the University of Tampa Board of Fellows, and serves as a volunteer counselor with SCORE.
