To prevent violent acts from happening, officers need the ability to quickly and accurately identify people with violent intentions. By developing a greater understanding of nonverbal communication and how these observations allow an officer to assess the intentions, capabilities and emotions of every person around them, we can begin to remove the fear and uncertainty that surround active shooter events. We can become more proactive in preventing them.
This one day (8-hour) seminar is the Tactical Analysis Level I course provided by Active Analysis Consulting with a focus on preventing the active shooter and officer ambushes before the attack begins. The course teaches students how to read the uncontrollable elements of human behavior and how those observations can empower someone to identify a person with violent intentions. Students wil recieve a certificate upon successful completion of the seminar.
