Watch 'Hoosiers' with David Haugh and Michael Phillips
Tournament time! And what better way to celebrate? Join Tribune sports columnist and Indiana native David Haugh and film critic Michael Phillips for a screening of “Hoosiers” starring Gene Hackman. This beloved 1986 basketball classic, set in 1950s Indiana, will be shown at the historic Music Box Theatre, followed by a discussion of its place among the greatest sports movies of all time, with special guests:
- Actor Chelcie Ross, who plays George in "Hoosiers," and also appeared in "Rudy," "Major League," "Trouble with the Curve," among many other films
- Bobby Plump, member of the 1954 Indiana state champion high school basketball team on which "Hoosiers" is based
