Event Details

Covenant Village of Turlock, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, will host writers/actors William and Sue Wills as they portray Teddy and Edith Roosevelt during their “Presidents and Their First Ladies, dramatically speaking” performance on July 22.

The event will be held at 1p.m. Using dialect, emotion, costumes and well-researched history, the couple will provide an entertaining and historical peek into the lives of America’s 26th president, Teddy Roosevelt, and his wife, first lady Edith Roosevelt.

The Wills have been performing theatrical dialogues about the lives of 33 of America’s first couples for more than 20 years. They research and write their own material, and design costumes for each era. They’ve performed at several presidential libraries and historic sites, including the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library, The Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum and the Harry S. Truman Museum.

Covenant Village of Turlock is located at 2125 North Olive Ave. For more information or to attend the program, please call 877-834-1238 or visit www.covenantvillageofturlock.org.
