Learn how sea level rise will impact your community and its assets...
According to the New York State 2100 Commission Report, sea level on the Hudson River is expected to rise up to 72 inches by 2100.
Jason Winner, Conservation GIS Manager with Scenic Hudson, will:
- Introduce Scenic Hudson’s sea level rise mapper;
- Showcase how the mapper visualizes future scenarios of sea level rise and coastal flooding; and
- Explain how communities and stakeholders can use the mapper to identify municipal resources that are at risk, and then strategize plans for resiliency and adaptation.
Certificates of attendance for municipal training credit
will be provided.
