The Oklahoma Academy's 2013 Spring Information Forum, Prescriptions for Better Health, will include:
- An overview of the Affordable Care Act presented by Gerard Clancy, MD, President of OU-Tulsa
- A panel on Medicaid Expansion featuring Tom Daxon, Oklahoma Council on Public Affiars, Patti Davis, Executive Vice President of the Oklahoma Hospital Association, and David Blatt, Director of the Oklahoma Policy Insittute.
- A presentation on the progress and goals of "the Oklahoma Plan," featuring panelists Sen. Brian Crain, Rep. Jeannie McDaniel, Rep. Glen Mulready and Rep. Doug Cox.

The Oklahoma Academy has a rich history as the state's premier citizen based organization addressing public policy awareness and development.
The Oklahoma Academy and its major program, the Town Hall, provide citizens one of the only remaining opportunites to participate in an open, honest, civil, democratic collaborative process designed to shape the future of Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Academy is a 501 c3 nonprofit. It is funded by resources from individual, business and corporate level membership dues as well as grants and sponsors for various programs and events.
