Event Details

Staten Island is facing an alarming epidemic of opioid misuse.  While opioids are a growing problem both nationally and throughout New York City, the Staten Island community has been hit especially hard.  It is time to come together - as the provider community - to work to be part of the solution to this epidemic.

On behalf of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), Tackling Youth Substance Abuse Initiative (TYSA), and the Staten Island Borough President's Office, we hope you will attend a meeting of providers that will be a key step in reversing opioid analgesic misuse in Staten Island.
