The DSM-V will be here before we know it. With a set publication date of May of 2013, this workshop is designed to give the clinician a head start in preparing themselves for the changes. Examples of proposed changes are:
-Changes to 5 axis and GAF
-Dramatic changes to personality disorders
-Revised categories for schizophrenia, mood disorder, and more
Please join Dr. Todd Frye, Dr. Todd Bowman, Dr. Earl Bland, and Dr. Scott Koeneman (full time faculty at MNU) as they take over 50 years of diagnostic experience between them to help you look at and assimilate the proposed revisions that will impact all mental health practitioners.
The main revisions from the DSM-IV TR to the DSM-5 will be reviewed with an understanding of how it will impact your day in and day out operations. Also discussed will be future considerations and how the DSM-5 will impact the mental health terrain for years to come.
