come speak to Marymount Students about the careers in the education field.
This event is open to all majors with special emphasis for school counselors, teachers, principals, HR, and all positions in the education field.

When: 10 April 2013. Registration and Networking Reception begins at 5:45 PM. Program starts promptly at 6:15 PM. Networking reception following program.

Students - please have your 30 second elevator speech ready and resumes on hand! Prepare to sell yourself!
Logistics: Closest metro is Ballston Metro (approx 3 blocks). There is also a Marymount Shuttle service from this metro stop. Classes are in session so parking is a challenge at Ballston campus. Anyone without a parking pass can park in the parking garage located directly across the street from the Ballston Center, at 1005 North Glebe Road, Monday through Thursday between 2 and 10 p.m (there will be a parking fee). Entrance to this garage is on 11th street across from Booey Monger's.
Future Events: This will be our final event for this academic year! We will continue to plan networking events for Marymount students over the summer.

Marymount University SHRM Chapter
The Marymount University Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter is a non-profit organization of Human Resource students and alumni dedicated to providing professional networking opportunities between Marymount students, alumni, SHRM members, and professional organizations within the DC/VA/MD area. We partner with the Alumni Relations Dept, Career Services, Student Government, and the administration in order to enhance and deepen our professional network within the community. We are an inclusive group who believe to building relationships both within and outside the HR industry.
