Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 7:00pm
Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Lyon Chapel Fine Arts Center
We want to invite you and your family to join Oklahoma Wesleyan University and the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra as we celebrate the start of the 2009 Christmas season. This special evening is
the perfect way to continue a week of thankfulness and begin a time of miracles and celebration with your family and community.
The evening includes all of the following:
7:00pm Prelude to Christmas Concert – The Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, led by Conductor Lauren Green, will present an evening celebrating Christmas Through Time. This year we will bring an added treat for the audience by including the OKWU Chorale for some special numbers. Come and enjoy an evening celebrating the music of Christmas that we have grown to love over the years.
Light Celebration – Following the concert, guests will be escorted down a lighted path to the beautiful, newly constructed patio in front of the Janice and Charlie Drake Library as we turn on the lights of the La Quinta Mansion. A spectacular fireworks show will then light up the sky.
Cookies & Cocoa – Our family will host our guests to delicious Christmas treats as we continue to celebrate community!
NOTE: Online Ticket Sales close on Friday, November 26th midnight. Tickets will be on sale at the door starting at 6:00pm
