PRAL Nola Presents: De-Clutter Your Look & Your Life
As PR professionals, we find ourselves constantly juggling a million different tasks and expectations, and it seems we’re always trying to find a balance and better organize ourselves to work more efficiently. Additionally, we’re often required to attend corporate meetings, functions, parties, events and galas, often going from one event to the next, where finding the right outfit for so many occasions can be a challenge. May's luncheon will address both issues, helping you to develop your organizational skills, your professional appearance and your overall “professional self” to improve your work-life balance and job performance.
About the speakers: This month is a double whammy with Kay Morrison from The Occasional Wife and Aimée Gowland and Corrie Pellerin from ALG Style.
Kay Morrison, The Occasional Wife
The Occasional Wife is a concept born in Kay Morrison's kitchen during a morning discussion with her husband on a day when neither of their schedules nor their two young children were cooperating. Morrison's husband stated that what they needed was an Occasional Wife. The Occasional Wife is a consulting service that helps you do all the things in your life; whether for that one-time major event or just to assist you and your family in all its daily aspects.
Aimée Gowland, ALG Style
Aimée Gowland is a fashion writer and stylist for ALG Style. Gowland’s interests in the fashion industry and her strong connections with the retail and fashion community have led to professional relationships with large scale retailers and styling for local print publications. Additionally, Gowland continues to contribute to several local publications and blogs discussing the subject of fashion and style.
Corrie Pellerin, ALG Style
Corrie Pellerin is a designer, stylist and personal shopper for ALG Style. Her experience in merchandising, retail and the wedding industry has trained her to address the needs of both the retailer and the customer. Pellerin has received accolades from Project Green's Worn Again and the Alegria Fashion Show, and has worked in New York for Issey Miyake and local artist Ashley Longshore.
