Looking to add a little oomph to your blog or business in the new year?
PR 201 For Bloggers is a workshop for people who already started a blog or online business, have some followers, might even be making a little money...but want to take it to the next level. I've helped bloggers get featured in their favorite magazines & blogs, double their site traffic, make appearances on TV shows and live events, and triple their blog revenue -- and I can teach YOU to do it too.
In one three-hour session, you'll learn all the tips & tricks you need to harness the power of social media and reach your blogging destiny. Topics include:
- Media kits -- what they are and why YOU need one
- How to pitch magazine editors and other bloggers
- Strategies for approaching & developing relationships with brands
- Methods for improving your advertising program
- How to negotiate your fees and what to ask for
- Ways to spice up your blog content, layout and exposure
- How to use social media more effectively and boost your online / IRL presence
Class size is small so we can keep it personal and relevant. All attendees will be asked to fill out a short survey prior to the class to ensure we cover topics that are most applicable to your current blogging situation. AND, we'll provide snacks, drinks and a few treasures to take home.
This workshop is brought to you by Lyndsey Payzant (Kismet Public Relations) & Sharon Garofalow (Cupcakes & Cutlery). Special thanks to E Madison Interior Lifestyles for hosting our workshop, and to our fabulous sponsors:
