PP_2013, Polar Passport, Valid 12/3/12 - 3/31/13
Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM - Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 5:00 PM (EST)
This is for a Polar Passport. The Polar Passport is a small booklet that you can use to visit each of the participating wineries, one time each, and enjoy a flight of wine samples at no charge. The advantage of the Polar Passport is two-fold:
Firstly, it allows you to easily explore wineries you've never visited, or maybe never even heard of, without having to think about their modest tasting fee and
Secondly, by saving money on tasting fees, that will leave you with more disposable cash with which to purchase bottles, and cases, of wine!
The Polar Passport can be used across multiple weekends. Oftentimes local/regional fans of the Trail will use their Passport across multiple weekends, visiting only a few wineries each time.
The Polar Passport is NOT intended for groups of 8 or more people. If you are travelling in a group of 8 or more people, do not purchase the Passport. Fortunately, our member wineries' tasting fees are quite modest, so you'll still end up having a terrific, affordable time visiting our member wineries regardless.
DATE: The Polar Passport is valid 12/3/12 - 3/31/13. Check with individual wineries to confirm their operating days and hours, as each winery has its own dates/times when they are open.
PRICE: $12 + tax + Evenbrite fees, per person.
Polar Passport quantities are limited. Polar Passports are not refundable, nor can they be exchanged. Other tickets, for other Seneca Lake Wine Trail events and our Riesling to Visit Passport, are also available for purchase through EventBrite. Having ordered your Polar Passports, we will then process your order and ship you the Passports in 3-5 business days. If you are visiting the Seneca Lake Wine Trail in the immediate future, do not purchase your Polar Passport online, because you will likely not receive it in time. Instead, if you're planning on visiting the Trail in the next 21 days, check online or call the office for a list of wineries that are selling the Polar Passport, so you can purchase them upon your arrival. For questions on the Polar Passport please contact the offices of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail weekdays during regular business hours at 1-877-536-2717.
The Polar Passport is not intended for groups of 8 or more. If a group of 8 or more enter a participating winery bearing their Polar Passport, they will still be required to pay the group tasting fee.
With over 30, award-winning member wineries, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail is a terrific destination for both experienced and novice fans of wine and the hardworking farmer/artisan/winemakers that craft it.
We are a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to inform consumers about our members' wines and wineries through unique wine events and promotional activities along Seneca Lake and at key market locations.
