Women's Fund of New Jersey

About The Women’s Fund of New Jersey:  Founded in 1995, the Women’s Fund of New Jersey is the only foundation in our state dedicated to investing in women and girls. Our mission is to invest in the power of women and girls through advocacy, grant-making, and strategic programming.  WFNJ created a Women's Policy Institute in 2008 to train grass-roots women leaders in the art of advocacy and help bring positive social change and improve the overall health and well-being of women and their families.  And during the summer 2012, the organization started “Tweet2Eat” a social-media experiment in which inner-city girls tweeted their legislators about the importance of having access to fresh and healthy food.
