About the Speaker

Roseanne Raffa is a speaker, Women’s Self Improvement Specialist and Founder of La Bella Rosa You (LBRY). La Bella Rosa You is a women’s finishing and self-improvement initiative that helps women to recognize their true essence, beauty and confidence, both externally and internally.

Roseanne’s journey to serving women in self-improvement began more than 30 years ago when she first received her formal training at the globally recognized, John Robert Powers Modeling & Finishing School in Beverly Hills, California. During her training at John Robert Powers, Roseanne fell in love with the concept of redesigning one’s self both inside and out. Having seen what she created within her own self, Roseanne began developing and teaching workshops in self- improvement consisting of wardrobe, visual poise, social graces, communications and inner personal development.

Roseanne is dedicated to helping women through an extreme personal enhancement experience, which is the impetus behind her newest program, Your Passion is You, a thorough 10 component training course that unleashes self passion, leading to a more fulfilled and enriched life. Roseanne’s specialty in women’s mentoring includes serving on the Youth Motivation Task Force, as the United Way Ambassador of Los Angeles County and consulting for the adult finishing programs at the John Robert Powers School.

Roseanne inspires a plethora amount of women to change their mindset and their outset for the better and plans to help many more through the intense La Bella Rosa You workshops.

About NAWBO National

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), headquartered in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all types of businesses.  The organization currently has over 80 chapters.   NAWBO traces its origins to a small group of Washington, DC business women who began meeting informally in the spring of 1975 to talk about mutual experiences, exchange information and develop business skills.  Recognizing the value of the group, they incorporated as the National Association of Women Business Owners on July 5, 1975.  Two years later they began recruiting members from across the country, and in 1978 the first chapters were formed.

Founding NAWBO National President Susan Hager liked to say, “Get a seat at the table or build your own table, and make sure to include other women at that table.”

Getting a seat at the table and including other women there has been the mission of NAWBO for the last 40 years.  We make it our business to ensure women business owners and entrepreneurs have a strong voice with policy makers and public officials who are making decisions which impact our businesses, our ability to succeed and our bottom line.
