What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? This session will take place from 3-7 pm in downtown Silver Spring MD – just about 1/2 mile from the Silver Spring Metro station (Red line). There is street parking within 1 block (should be Free on Sun but be sure to read signs carefully and follow parking instructions). Location address will be printed on purchased ticket.
What is the refund policy?
We have room for 16 attendees and expect this class to fill up quickly. Please RSVP ASAP. It’s first-come, first-serve, payment will be required in advance, and no refunds will be possible.
When & Where
Mark Sutton has been the Visualizations Coordinator for two NASA Earth Satellite Missions, an interactive multimedia consultant, organic farmer, and head conference photographer. His clients have included the White House, NOAA, various Federal Agencies, and Apple. He's developed media published in several major magaines and shown or broadcast internationally, produced DVDs and websites, edited & managed a vegan cookbook (No More Bull! by Howard Lyman), worked with two Nobel Prize winners on Global Climate Change, and helped create UN Peace Medal Award-winning pre-college curriculum.
A vegetarian for 20 years, then vegan the past 11, Mark's the editor of the Mad Cowboy e-newsletter, one of the 1st vegan bloggers, an avid nature photographer, gardener, and environmentalist. Mark writes articles and recipes frequently for various blogs and is a regular contributer to the "Vegan Culinary Experience" magazine.
