Rick Guidotti, a former fashion photographer, challenges our vision of beauty with his stunning photographs of individuals who have genetic differences in his “Positive Exposure” exhibition. For ReelAbilities, Rick will exhibit his current selection of photos as well as pictures he takes of local Houstonians during a photo shoot in January.

Jewish Family Service and its Alexander Institute for Inclusion are the proud organizers of the city-wide event ReelAbilities: Houston Disabilities Film Festival 2014. With TIRR Memorial Hermann as the Lead Sponsor and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities’ support, ReelAbilities strives to make Houston a more inclusive community by reducing the stigma associated with disabilities.The festival is committed to promoting appreciation and awareness of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with various disabilities. The festival will present award winning films by and about people with disabilities in multiple locations throughout the city. Post-screening discussions and other engaging programs will bring together our community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.
