The Market Restaurant crew is emerging from winter hibernation with a bang. We’re helping them warm up for another season of fresh, local fare and ocean views with a paella party at our annex.
Before summer hits, chefs/owners Nico and Amelia Monday will reopen The Market on picturesque Lobster Cove in Annisquam and add a brand new eatery to the family (Short & Main, a wood-fired oven and raw bar whose offerings will have a Northern Italian and Mediterranean lilt). As a prelude to all that, we’re throwing a paella feast with Nico, Amelia, and their partners in Short & Main, Howie Correa and Matt Cawley. Expect the same unfussy but impeccably prepared food for which The Market is known, but with a Spanish twist. We’ll be serving up cheese, charcuterie, oysters, wine, beer, and as the main event, giant pans of grill-fired seafood paella.
