This Registers ONE Team into the 2014 POMF BBQ Cook Off for Meat Categories ONLY. (Beef Brisket, Pork Spare Ribs & Chicken — one half (1/2) fully jointed domestic chicken with skin that includes a breast, wing with tip, thigh, and drumstick. (NO Cornish Game Hens) One Team per Pit See IBCA Rules- http://ibcabbq.org/ibca-rules/ Ticket Sales are final and should be considered a donation to the charity. Use this printed ticket as a receipt for proof of purchase.

BBQ Cookers, Put this event on your calendars, its for an excellent cause.  

Meet us in beautiful San Antonio Texas for this one.  We will be competing for of $5000.00 in prize money, paying out 10 places in each category.  The judging be sanctioned by IBCA and Serena Balch is scheduled as our Head Judge (see official rules at: http://ibcabbq.org/ibca-rules).

2013 POMF Cook Off hosted 32 cooking teams and we are hoping for a greater turn out in 2014. We would really appreciate your support and spreading the word for this event.  All proceeds benefit the Texas Peace Officers Memorial, which is privately funded and located on our states capital grounds.

The mission of the Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation is to perpetuate the memory of law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the citizens of Texas. The Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. 

Since its inception in 1987, the foundation's uncompromising determination to preserve the rich history of Texas law enforcement and provide support for the families of peace officers has remained unparalleled. 

The foundation honors the fallen by providing assistance and support in a line of duty death. The foundation also offers college scholarships, sponsors the biennial Memorial Service at the State Capitol and supports research to find and honor all Texas Peace Officers who throughout history have made the ultimate sacrifice.
