- Family & Education
- Lancaster Public Library, Lancaster
Six poets on a national tour invite you to a free workshop! Create new poems, strange poems, perhaps even your first poem! Optional: bring some favorite poems or quotes or lyrics to share.
To learn more about the poets and the project, visit us at lineassembly.com.
There will be two concurrent programs, one for adults and one for youth. The workshops will consist of activities that generate new poems as well as conversations about sustaining a life of writing. Participants will also be encouraged to share poems or other writing that inspires them, resources to find more poetry, and thoughts on what they’d like to see in their own communities.
Youth (ages 6-11) in the Clark room
Adults in the Windolph room
