We'll introduce and play with light sensors and learn how to trigger a simple event based on its readings. Starting together with a simple project, move on to imagining other useful or fun scenarios in which you would embed a light sensor.
Tools that will be explored include the Arduino, breadboards, and sensors.
For ages 10 +, adults welcomed.
When & Where
Join our MakerSpace for Youth Inventors of All Ages
The Makery is an educational makerspace - part shop, part workshop, part exploreground. A venue where youth and adults are encouraged to be curious, to tinker, to experiment, and to make with technology. The Makery is a place where communities can gather to play with the creative power of digital design and fabrication, physical computing, and creative coding. The inverse of a store, come create from your own imagination. In addition to workshop classes, we also build periodic exhibits and events for the public to explore. Check out what's happening.
