Shakespeare Live: Playing Hamlet on Stage – A “Shakespeare Uncovered” Workshop
Sunday, March 24, 3:30 p.m.
Tennessee Shakespeare Company Producing Artistic Director Dan McCleary will lead a special one-hour Hamlet rehearsal workshop as TSC prepares for its production of the play, April 3-14 inside Dixon Gallery and Garden’s Winegardner Auditorium.
Shakespeare Live: Playing Hamlet on Stage, will feature professional actors from TSC’s national cast working on Hamlet speeches and scenes, with guidance and observations from the audience. And for audience members who would like to work briefly on Hamlet, one or two volunteers will be invited to the stage.
Tickets are free, but reservations are required.
Prior to the workshop, we will host a tour of the Tennessee Chakespeare Company costume exhibit and a screening of the one-hour documentary of Shakespeare Uncovered: Hamlet with David Tennant, both of which is also free. Again, tickets are required. Get those here:
